At ABC our priority is the telling of the Gospel - the transforming good news of Jesus - both in word and deed.

We have supreme confidence in the truth contained in the Bible - the living Word of God - and therefore we seek to ensure that all that we are and all that we do is shaped by it. 

As a church we treasure the privilege of gathering with one another regularly to worship together.

In our worship together we aspire to read the Bible, preach the Bible, pray the Bible and sing the Bible.

The celebration of the Lord's Supper - remembering the atoning death of Jesus on the cross and His glorious resurrection from the grave for the forgiveness of our sins - lies at the heart of our gathered worship.

As a Baptist Church we mark the reality of the transforming work of the Gospel in the life of individuals through Believers Baptism.

Through our Church Meeting we seek to recognise the leading of Jesus through his Holy Spirit in order that we might faithfully serve his purposes in the communities that we are called to serve as part of the church of Jesus Christ here in Acomb.
